Insgesamt habe ich bereits 42 kleine Blöcke genäht. Und ganz ehrlich: Das ist eine Menge Arbeit. 

Jeder kleine Block besteht aus  10 HST-Blöcken, die zu 5 kleinen Schleifchen-Blöcken zusammengesetzt werden. Die HSTs sind 1 1/4" groß, das heißt, dass jeder Schleifchen-Block 2" groß ist. Das ist ziemlich klein.

(HSTs= Half Square Triangles. Dieser Begriff ist so viel eingängiger als die deutsche Übersetzung "Halbe Quadrate Dreiecke" oder so ähnlich.).

 Anfang April war es wieder soweit: Ich wurde die Bienen-Königin in unserer Modern Cologne-Bee. Das bedeutet, dass ich mich für Blöcke entscheiden muss, die die anderen fleißigen Bienen für mich nähen sollen.
